Odile Liboiron-Ladouceur

Odile Liboiron-Ladouceur received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from McGill University, Montréal, Canada, in 1999, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University, New York, in 2003 and 2007, respectively.

Her doctoral research work focused on the physical layer and data interface of optical interconnection networks for high-performance computing. In 2008, she joined the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as an Assistant Professor.

Her research interests are in optical data communications, energy-efficient optical interconnection architectures, silicon integrated photonic design, and plasmonic interconnects.

Prior to her academic career, she worked in industry at Teradyne (Boston, MA) and Texas Instruments (Dallas, Texas).

She is an associate editor of the IEEE Photonics Technology Letter, a member of the Nanophotonics Technical Program Committee for the IEEE Photonics Society Annual Meeting, and the chair of the IEEE Montreal Photonics Society Chapter.
