Ferhat Khendek

Ferhat Khendek received a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, option Software, from the University of Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria, and M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Université de Montréal.

He is a Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Concordia University.

From 2001 to 2002, and from 2008 to 2009, he was a Visiting Researcher at Ericsson Research Canada in Montreal.

He has published more than 120 refereed research papers in journals and conference proceedings. Prof. Khendek is on the program committee of several conferences and was co-chair of NOTERE 2004, MCETECH’2005, IFIP TESTCOM 2005 and IWODDS’2010.

His research interests are mainly in the design, modeling and analysis of real-time software systems, service high availability, and value added service engineering techniques and architectures for next generation networks.
